First Pakistan Idol
There is no platform where a Beaconite has not left a mark – be it academic or non-academic. Our students have always proved to be unmatchable in their confidence and commitment. We are proud to share that once again a Beaconite has taken the country by storm – an individual who fostered his musical skills on the stage of Beaconhouse to become the first ever Pakistan Idol. Zamad Baig, an alumnus of BSS Jhelum, passed his matriculation in 2008. During his years at BSS he used to take part in all the competitions and activities in school to harness his passion. He worked diligently with his music teacher, Mr Shahjahan Alam, who is still part of the team at BSS Jhelum. Students of the BSS Jhelum Campus supported Zamad by actively taking part in the voting process, eventually contributing to his win.

Annual Alumni Dinner at Defence Campus, Lahore
December 19, 2011: Beaconhouse Defence Campus hosted its first ever Annual Alumni Dinner at its campus.

Great weather, excellent food, good music, old friends and innumerable memories revisited; that's what Beaconhouse Defence Campus's first ever alumni dinner was all about.

The dinner brought together graduates from as far back as the batch of 1996 to those who had graduated just three months ago.

Toss in great ambiance and old teachers and you have a winning combination. The alumni took rounds of the school and got their pictures taken with the Principal, teachers, guards and peons. They posed at the stairs where they used to hang out during their school days.

The students also recorded their memories and thoughts in a memory book.
